Perth AFC took on Canning City FC on Sunday at Len Packham Reserve. Canning had come into the game with two big wins under the belt and we were reeling after a frustrating loss to Kingsley the week before.
From the first whistle we looked pumped up for it and played some great football to dominate the half and go in 2-0 up at HT!
The second half we played well and went 3-0 up after a penalty dispatched by Matic securing his hat-trick for the day. Canning had a man sent off with 20 to go but strangely enough they pushed hard till the end whereas we dropped off considerably and they scored their goal and probably could've scored another with 5 minutes to go!
However a 3-1 win was just what we needed and an even performance across the team was pleasing!
