As the curtain falls on what will no doubt be a year to forget for people the world over,
I can't help but feel that we are lucky to live in probably the best place on earth during these very difficult times.
After a tough start to this season, the Reserves showed a real grit and determination that was incredibly pleasing to see, stringing together an unbeaten streak lasting 10 weeks, taking points off of the eventual league winners and dragging us back towards the top of the table.
With a squad impacted by injuries to key members, rotation became inevitable but the most pleasing thing was that every single person that was called into the Reserves this year, gave it everything. This squad's mentality is vital, it carried us to the league last year, and once again paid dividends.
40 different players were named in the Reserves matchday squad in the 2020 season, thank you to all of you for giving it everything.
I'm proud of the players and thankful for their support throughout the season.
My thanks also goes to Marco and Yuma, it's a pleasure to work with you both, also to the countless volunteers and the commitee members that make this club a success.
