After a disappointing loss against Footballista the boys were ready to bounce back against a very fragile Spearwood Lions side, and what a game it was. Turned into a 10 goal thriller with the first 5-10mins being pretty even before we took the reins and controlled the rest of the match quite comfortably. The game finished 8-2 with a dominant 4 goals from the main man Nathan Thorp and an abundance of assists and 2 goals from Allstar Jukic, not to mention Martyn Sharpe picking up some fine form after injury firing in 2 goals also.
After a week off we have a tough test against big boys EWA with a few lads missing for outdoor commitments, tonight will be a massive test for us and will be a battle from start to finish. Looking forward to seeing our new signing Oscar Pit in action who looked very sharp in training, it will be an entertaining game to say the least.
