“Perth AFC Div 3 team travelled to Edinburgh Park to take on 2nd placed Curtin Uni on Sunday. We went into the game with a full squad and confident we could take a good scalp and continue our 4 game unbeaten run! In a see sawing encounter both teams pushed to win the game and pick up three valuable points!
We found ourselves 3-2 down (having a goal disallowed in first half) with 15-20 mins to go and Curtin looking like they had the ascendency. However the boys showed tremendous fight and resilience to stay in the game then snatch an equalizer late in the game. With the last few minutes we pushed for a winner missing a couple of chances that would’ve given us a great win but it wasnt to be with A thrilling 3-3 draw eventuating.
An even all round performance from our team however a hat trick from Sean Claude demonstrated the rich vein of form he is in at the moment! Great effort from all the players against a tough opponent and hopefully we can get the elusive 3 points next week vs Murdoch Uni!”
