"What a weekend of futsal for AFC. With half a squad available to play in the Men's clash against Melville I thought we would have had a tough game on our hands but our boys really stepped up and played basic futsal. Kept it simple and played really well as a team.
The WSFL Draft girls are continuing there good form as they went down 4-2 to Cumbre.
Our WSFL girls took on joint league leaders Cumbre. I knew if we continued our form from last week we could come out with a good result and the girls really stepped up. Without a full strength squad to choose from some of the draft girls got the call up into the team. Going down 1-0 the girls set the rhythm of the game shortly after with the Cumbre keeper pulling off some outstanding saves. But once again the AFC girls put on a great team performance coming out 3-1 winners. Now we look on to South Perth this weekend as we aim for a spot in the top 4."
