“Perth AFC Premier travelled to Centenary Park on Sunday to take on Centenary FC in a game we were weary about our opponents due to their climb up the ladder in recent weeks. However after a great point blank save from AFC Keeper Neil Jarvis in the first few minutes AFC dominated proceedings With 2 goals to Daniele D'ulisse in the first half to put us in the box seat and in a confident mood for the second half.
We continued in the same vein after the break with the team as a whole balancing defence and attack in equal measure, Rock solid in defence and devastatingly effective going forward. Special mention to Sean Claude who destroyed the Centenary defence with 2 long range goals and 3 assists in a memorable day for him and AFC!
Now we turn our attention to our acid test taking on league leaders and Premier benchmark Perth Saints in 2 weeks in an encounter that will determine how far we’ve come as a team. However we will savour our 5-0 win against Centenary but keep the proverbial “lid on it” in the coming week as we face our toughest test!”
