“A wet and windy Wednesday night in Mandurah greeted the girls for our Quarter Final clash with second placed Mandurah FC. What Can I say in extremely trying conditions and the bare 11 the girls stayed true to form and played a very disciplined Football match to take the Win 4-0 from a very tenacious and manned up Mandurah squad who fought us to the end, The girls left the field elated but sore.
A couple of special mentions to Captain Gabbi who took on a new role with confidence and owned the middle of the park and also Caitlyn who took on a central defensive role and cleaned up the back with Claire, Karina and Donna. I am so proud of the girls and the efforts they put in week in and week out no matter the score or the skill set of the other team they all play like champions.”
