SFL Boys Left Reeling By Curtin Footballista As The AFC Boys Struggle To Settle.

After a hefty loss last week, the AFC boys couldn’t wait to get back out there and reverse last weeks result and find that first win that every team looks for to settle the nerves to get their season underway.

That wasn’t the case this week! Up against a quality Curtin Footballista team (another newly promoted side) the boys were quietly confident of a result but a very lack lustered and flat performance meant the boys were no match for their opposition.

Not many talking points on the game front but another good performance from Tom Eastman who continues to lead the team with his high work rate, pressure and furocious tackling a positive moving forward.

After back to back losses for AFC and frustrations starting to show, the boys are staying positive and will continue to break down and tighten up the new game plan that coach Jon Bucolo has set them. Still a work in progress but each week hopefully getting closer and closer to that first win and a performance the whole club can be happy with.

The draft boys jumped out the blocks with an early goal to Steven Forbes but was slowly pegged back by Footballista to go down 5-2.
