"The girls played the game like champions from the beginning to the end in their classy form showing all that were there to watch what an awesome force these Perth AFC girls are. It was a game of centimetres and could have gone either way but the back of the net was not our friend on Saturday and the cling film around the goals held strong and did not allow us a way through.
In saying that all the girls put there all into a tough game and never compromised their team spirit even in the face of defeat. I also want to make special mention of Caitlyn who stayed on the field and played after sustaining a bad injury to her ankle but knew the girls needed her so she fought through the pain and nearly scored one herself.
